First Time Front-End

I am currently attending a full time immersive bootcamp in Atlanta (DigitalCrafts). This past week my cohort was tasked with creating our first front end project. We were pretty much given open range to do whatever we like, within the parameters of our skillset, as long as we met certain requirements. Reflecting on the project, I would say 80% of the time, the work was moderately easy and trouble free. The final 20% was where I found the most challenges. Unfortunately I spent a lot of time working on an algorithm that manipulated data in a specific file. But getting javascript to actually pull that data from that .txt file proved to be beyond my grasp. My takeaway is that going forward, I should not spend an inordinate amount of time and effort on something that is contingent on a missing puzzle piece. This project was very much a learning lesson for me.
